Every municipality on Prince Edward Island holds a municipal election to elect a minimum of one Mayor and six Councillors and administered under the guidance of PEI Municipal Affairs.

Elections PEI is "contracted" to administer the Municipal Elections in Cornwall, Stratford, Summerside and Three Rivers under the guidance of Municipal Affairs. For information on Municipal Elections regarding these four municipalities, please call Elections PEI at 1-888-234-8683
Municipal Elections are held every four (4) years on the first Monday in November.
