Three Levels of Government

The mandate of Elections PEI is to administer Provincial General Elections, By-elections, Referendums and Plebiscites.  We help on Municipal Elections as we are hired by five municipalities to administer their elections and by-elections along with the School Board Elections on PEI.  Elections PEI does not administer the federal elections, however, our office collaborates with Elections Canada and the other Electoral Management Bodies from across Canada on election initiatives.

Elections PEI is pleased to launch two new videos as a learning tool for you and your students learning from home. These two videos are a terrific tools to help you understand the three levels of government and how they affect and influence our daily routines.
