The Official Agent of every registered party and registered candidate shall, within 120 days following Determination Day, submit a financial report of all election expenses to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer of PEI.

Elections PEI has compiled Interpretation Guidelines to assist Official Agents during the operation of an electoral event.
Election Spending
Elections PEI will contact all Official Agents at the beginning of an electoral event to update Candidate and Party spending limits based upon the current Consumer Price Index (CPI).
For the remainder of 2025, in the event of a provincial election or by-election, the following spending rates have been set in accordance to the Election Expenses Act and the Consumer Price Index (CPI)
Candidate Spending Limit (per registered elector in District) $3.30 Party Spending Limit (per registered elector) $11.31
